This Is A Family Friendly Pub. The Food Is Really Lovely & Reasonably Priced The Argyll Burger Is A Gut Bursting Helping & The Steak Is To Die For. Everything Is Cooked By Stuart The Landlord Who Is Also A Trained Chef. The Staff Are Really Friendly & Helpful Especially Emma Stuart's Business Partner Who Is Really Nice In Her Welcoming Of New & Old Customers.

Good fun old fashioned pub, comfy beds, good company. Staff were helpful, talkative and helped me find the best route to my destination the next day. Served food after the kitchen had closed as I arrived late. The only slight let down was the quality of the food, pretty basic, but still enjoyable. A good stay for the price.

Welcoming staff and an old fashion pub. The rooms where a bit dated and basic but the atmosphere made up for it. Only stay here if you don't mind staying above a popular boozer!
